Black Darling and the adventure continues

This is a heavy loaded week-end, although it is still very cold. Yesterday I visited with some friends, Andy, Simone, Ben, Pascal and Holger, a 'not so really' abandoned coking plant in France. We had to play cat and mouse very often with the security guards but we managed to get in and out without too many problems. You can imagine that the name Black Darling has been born in our imagination because we want to keep this place secret. I will try to put some information about the plant itself without going too much into details. I think we were the first explorers to visit it. The pictures can be found under Industry - Others.

Today is another day of exploration and I am sure I'll take a lot more pictures today than yesterday. There were only silos, coking ovens and conveyor belts at the coking plant. So, don't forget to come back regularly because there will be new pictures over the next few days.

I like 3/3 from the Black Darling series a lot. Especially the glowing highlights on the left.

You did it ! Last time I've been there just to see if it is doable or not, I found it not that obvious to get in, plus the fact there are many other active industries nearby doesn't smelt that good.
Congratulation guys !

Hi Max,
As you can see, it is doable and I will add some more pictures over the next days. But it is not that interesting and very dangerous. The other active industries are part of a big industrial complex and there is not a clear delimitation between this plant and the others. We have seen the securtiy guards very often checking the area with their cars and walking around with dogs. Considering the risk, the dirt and the interestingness of the place, I've decided not to return there because it is not really worth a visit. Only one large silo building is beautiful. Thanks!
